As previously posted I have had a long time problem with magazines being blown out of the gun while firing (with regular ammo). I sent it back once and was told it was 'my grip' and that my pinky was probably unlatching the magazine retention spring. Well it kept happening even when I made absolutely sure my fingers were nowhere near the spring.
I was about to get rid of it but I decided to try once more. I wrote Rohrbaugh a letter describing my problems. They had me send it in. I got it back, and lo and behold they put on a new magazine retention spring that seems 3x as strong as the old one. It's actually difficult now to remove the magazine.
I've fired about 6 mags thru the gun now without any problem, so I am hopeful. I am disappointed that the gun did not work for me out of the box, or after the first time I sent it in. However, I am extremely impressed with Rohrbaugh's customer service, I spoke with Karl on a number of occasions (he actually returns calls!), and I was never charged for anything, although I'm sure the gun is well past warranty. So hopefully the story has a happy ending. It really is a beautiful piece of engineering.

BigDave: I also sent my gun back so the factory could take a look at a jam issue I was having with the 115 GDs: always on the last 2 rounds of the magazine. Whatever they did to it at the shop, it came back working very well! And the only clue I noticed was that my magazine is now VERY difficult to remove from the gun, just like yours. But it actually felt good and tight!
So far I could not make it fail with my 115 GDs (over 100 rounds.)
Good to hear yours is working well.

Interesting,
We seem to be moveing toward a mag and mag securing/maybe mag depth issue here.
