I ordered Federal 105 gr. (the NON +P load) expanding full metal jacket ammunition today. I hope this load will be 100% feeding as my R9 does not like Federal HST loads.
As soon as it comes in I'll give a range report.

I doubt the profile of the projectile will help as its very truncated and supposedly thats a bad thing for pups. HAve you tried Remingtons plain old jhp with its rounded profile?
Goodluck with that though and definatly keep us posted! Those federals are pretty impressive in balistic tests!

I won't use ANY Remington ammo. The last time we went for qualification on our HK MP-5 submachine guns my partner grabbed Remington UMC 9mm FMJ. It wouldn't run in his MP-5, I tried it in mine, it didn't work in mine either. Both of our guns had NEVER malfunctioned up to this point! We switched to Winchester USA and they ran perfect!
I'm not going to trust my @$$ to ammo that won't run in an MP-5. We have tried MANY different loads including several hollow point loads and they all ran EXCEPT UMC.

So what are you trying to say? No need to hold back, just tell how you really feel.
Sorry your expieriance with Remington was a poor one. The weapons we tested them in ran fine on both full and semi auto batterys. This admittedly was some time ago.

PursuitSS,
Both my pups did not like the Federal expanding FMJ ammo.
Good luck with yours though.

Yeah, I came on a little over the top. It's just that an HK MP-5 will run on total CR@P and Remington UMC wouldn't function!
It's pretty bad when I can crank out 900 rounds an hour on my Dillon RL-1050 and they run perfect, yet Remington can't produce factory ammo that will work!

UMC is junk, I had a box of 250 that had bullets fall out of the cartridges.
