Title: What production/development changes have occurred?

I was wondering what changes to the R9 have been made since its initial production.

I know they chnaged the recoil spring to closed on both ends and the mag springs were also changed.  My understanding is that they are now Wolff.  Were they not Wolff before?

The springs were always Wolff.  Wolff was involved in the original production of the R-9 and coming up with the proper spring.
