Just won an R9s off of gun broker and I am pretty pumped. I usually learn the hard way, but I figure I better get some ideas before I use this thing. So, what I am looking for are some starting places. Such as:
What ammo has been working best?
What holsters have been working best for you current users?
Thanks Much.

Welcome and congrats. What model did you get? As far as ammo goes different guns sometimes like different things. Most of them run will great with WWB (winchester white box-the cheap stuff) for range time and eithor gold dots or win silver tips for carry ammo. Some here like remington golden sabors and some like others. I am blessed to have three pups (rohrbaugh pistols) that all shoot great with wwb, and gold dots so thats what I have stocked up on and use. Holsters depends on how you want to carry your r9. For pocket carry I use eithor a Hedley (if you see one for sale snatch it up!) or a Dell Fatti Ph3. They both are TOP quality leather pieces. I also often use a Smartcarry holster witch I love. The R9 can ride all day and be very confortable. I don't do IWB so someone else may want to recomend something there.
Again, welcome to the forum and the Rohrbaugh. Enjoy!!!!

WWB 115 and Gold Dot 115. Welcome aboard.

Welcome! You have done the right thing by starting here where good info abounds. I use GD 124 for carry. There are alot of good holster makers but it might take awhile to get a good quality leather holster. Order a Desantis Nemisis for carry until you can find a good leather holster.

GD 124, Get hold of Robert Mecco on our forum he makes good holsters. Tom

ccoorreeyy, you'll have to forgive me, but I'm not very savvy on the pups yet. I know it is supposed to be a P9s and it does not have the stealth coating. BTW, that's just the type of info I was looking for. Three pups? You must be fairly successful.
CaptBW, Newt, and theirishguard, thanks about the ammo this will be an awesome starting point. Most of my other handguns have +p or +p+ running through them. Then again, I'm new to the concealed carry market.

I do have a great job that pays the bills but as for having three pups, it took selling off other guns I had to fund the addiction of these. I love the pups!

ccoorreeyy, I can't see your pic too well. What other firearms do have in that pic?

I've seen recommendations for Robert Mecco before but can't figure out how to contact him. A "search" of his name on this forum only yields messages that have his name and I can't find him in a list of the members.
What am I missing?
Thanks

You can email him Robertmeco@aol.com and he will reply the same day. I know he is doing holsters for seecamps and ruger lcp's but has not started Rohrbaugh's yet. He is waiting on a dummy gun. I have seen his work and think highly of it! In fact I should have a LCP rear pocket holster in the mail Monday from him when I get home from work. Here is a picture of it he email me. He will soon be able to handle the Rohrbaugh orders. I'll keep you guys updated.

Thanks everbody. I'm back in the States and finally got a chance to try out the new pup. Ouch at first, but awesome after that. Going with GDs and the Wwb ;)CaptBW. Tried some Silver bear of my buddies and had three FTF in a row. That's what I get for shooting trash. Again Thanks for the info and The United States of America is AWESOME.
