Title: guvHow Often?

Soon to be owner interested in how often you shoot your R9.
 
I consider myself proficient with most firearms and shoot pistols frequently. I also understand the R9 is not a range gun. But on average how often do you practice or fire your R9 How about magazine rotation or magazine replacement due to spring tension?  Any other matineance or care issues you feel are critical to function other than cleaning?

The R9 has a very natural pointability to it.  Practice with your other handguns and run a couple mags through the R9 maybe every month or so.  It is not necessary to practice with the R9 in order to be proficient with it.  It IS however, difficult to restrain oneself from shooting it a LOT.  It is a very fun gun to fire.  MOO
