Title: Disappointed
Post by: era-fia on November 01, 2008, 05:04:42 PM
Well after waiting paiently, (three weeks not realy that long) my R9 was received by my dealer, thanks Tom.  I went to pick it up only to be told that the ballistics sample required by NYS wasn’t included.  I was surprised by this since Rohrbough is located in NY.  After examining it I had to put it back in the box untill some time next week.  Hopefully it won’t be after my purchase doc. Expires.  NY, NY what a *&^% town.  Should be Red tape city.  Sorry to rant but had to get it off my chest…thanks.

Hang in there and hopefully Maria can help expedite what you need to get under the time line.

Are those the two expended rounds (brass)??  I got mine.  they were in the bag with the extra spring.  We don't need that in Georgia, that I am aware of.

NY policies suck.  Thanks Bloomberg, you embarrass me.

The real answer is to move out of states like that so that eventually their tax base erodes to nothing and they are forced to reevaluate their liberal ideas.

Since I did not open the box, I didn't know. I thought all of them came with extra spend brass.  sorry Joe.  Tom

Hi Tom, no problem...there were two spent shells, however it seems that NY now requires a case in a sealed package from the manufacturer with other info in the package.  I wasn't expressing any disappointment with you, I apperciate your customer service ;D.  The pup was awsome, I just hated leaving it there after checking it out, I had a range date set for Sunday.  At my age you would think I wouldn't have such anticipation for a toy.  The little time I checked it out ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.

BytorJr, You're right I have a ccw in a neighboring state and am planning a move within the next year.

Good for you!!!!!!!  If enough people get wise (though highly unlikely due to what I anticipate the election is going to be), maybe these states will learn the lesson, albeit the hard way.

Tom's computer crashed, I told him about your reply. He says he's glad it worked out and was sorry about the initial problems you had.
