Title: Blazer Brass ammo????
Post by: jetman on December 04, 2008, 06:46:12 PM
I've only used Winchester White box for target ammo in my "pup" and locally several places have Blazer Brass (brass cases not aluminum) for sale and was curious if anyone here had actually run any throught their R9. Any experience with this ammo??

I haven't run any through an R9, but I've run "BB" in 45 and 9 with no problems.   I can't remember if it's more or less dirty than WWB, but I know it's much cleaner than Remington green box.

Natchez is selling Blazer alum. case for $7.99 per bx of fifty. I have been buying by the case.
i have not tried it in my R-9 and prob. wont try, but all my other 9s shoot it just fine.

I've shot the Blazer aluminum cased ammo with no problems in .45 but never tried the 9mm. I've also shot the Blazer Brass in .45 as well with no issues but was curious if these little guys had any issues with it. Being a FMJ hardball round I doubt there would be any serious issues but wanted to know if anyone had tried it. I guess I'll try it out and let you guys/gals know.
