Hello all
Went to the retail store a couple weeks ago for a Sig, while there I saw the Rohrbaugh R9 and laid my paws on it. Understated, the R9 left an impression. Set aside the beauty of this gem. The balance and quality was obvious, immediate and unlike any pistol I've held. So, I bought the 229 and gained a project, to research the R9.
You know the rest.....bought my R9s last week, will be firing in the coming weeks and looking forward to that.
Thanks for the great site and to the Rohrbaugh Bros. for a GREAT pistol. I have learned alot from the regular contributers here, cheers

Welcome to the Forum and to the growing club of owners of what I consider to be the finest pocket pistol on this third rock from the sun. Please give us a range report after you have put your new masterpiece through its paces.

Welcome and congrats on the R9. I fell into the same trap you did. Once you handle one of these jewels, nothing else will do.

Thanks for the welcome
The R9 was flawless at the range last week. Only ran 20 through it. I was really impressed with the accuracy at 25ft. it is snappy but not at all bad. I fired my Kimber Tactical Ultra after the R9 and lets just say I should have fired the R9, last. ;)
I have a couple pocket holsters for it now but I'm looking for a good belt holster of some sort, inside or out. Any suggestions?

Hope you enjoy your new pistol. While new to posting here, I have had my R9S Elite for almost a year now and it has been a fairly faithful companion since. Some initial problems, but I am fairly confident in its ability to go *bang* when I would need it too. It is a work of art for sure, a little more tempermental than say, my Sig P232, but I find myself carrying the R9 much more. Besides, my wife has basically confiscated the P232. I am happy that any American company has the guts to start producing guns these days, and I try to support them to the fullest.
