This seems to be the most reliable one around?

This is the round I use.

I've used it since the beginning Tom

I carry the Speer 115 gr. Gold Dot.
I don't think 10 grains would make any appreciable difference between the "punch" of the 124 gr. and the "speed / Penetration" of the 115 grain. Especially with the short barrel length of the R9 and the "up-close-and-personal" distance between the muzzel and the target. :-/
So, I don't see any advantage / disadvantage to either choice of these two Gold Dots. Does this sound logical to you all? I'm still learning. :)

Hello All,
Natchez Shooters Supply has the Gold Dot ammo on sale
http:// http://www.natchezss.com/ammo.cfm?contentID=ammoGroup&ammoGroup=2&searchBy=size&ammoSize=349 as well as some other brands. This is a great company to do business with (no affiliation what-so-ever).

(Except for an infinitesimally short stint where I attempted to fire some low grain CORBON that FTF'd and FTE'd all over my pistol, and said CORBON got sent back in the way old days of early February 2009, but never got replaced... Yet...)
