Title: Robar NP3
Post by: Cliffg on March 20, 2010, 03:37:32 PM
I carry my R9 stealth as a daily carry and would like your thoughts on having Robar coat it with NP3 to keep it in top condition.  I live on the ocean in a tropical enviroment so between daily carry and the elements I would like to keep the gun in good order.  This pup is about one year old and a wonderful daily carry because I really don't notice it. I am aware that they make a model that comes coated with NP3, but I purchased mine before it was available, and there appear to be some differences aside from the NP3 on this model.  Your thoughts and experience are greatly appreciated.

People really like the NP3 finish even when it is applied later. The cost savings is well worth it IMHO. You can get 15% off the new NP3 Plus finish if you get your firearm in before April 1st too.

Cliff.  Welcome to the Forum.  I would think since you live on the ocean that the NP3 finish would be an asset to you.  Again welcome, and post often.

Robar said about 6 weeks and costs are about $265.00 with one extra magazine.  They have a 15% special on right now

Cliffg - welcome to the fire.

I highly reccomend NP3 and I do not even live near the ocean.
I have a couple of pistols treated with it and have a gun part in Phoenix being treated as we speak.
You will not be disappointed.

In fact, Robar now has an NP3 "plus"  that you may want to consider.  They hightly reccomend it for you ocean goers.

Good Luck
