Title: WTS - P3AT - PA.
Post by: R9SCarry on April 24, 2005, 01:58:52 AM
Guys, I have had my P3AT some while but heck - it is just not needed any more if I am honest.  I know here it is unlikely anyone will want it - I mean - we are R9 folks yeah!

Anyways - I am thinking of moving it on - it is crazy to have it sitting in safe all the time.  I have done some fluff and buff and only ammo it seems picky about is Silver Bear FMJ.  I have two std mags, with pinky extensions.

Round count thus far - I would estimate at 100 or so - very modest.  Barely broke in!

If anyone interested - it is $175 shipped.  A very inexpensive pocket piece.

Payment thru PayPal.

Chris, if you would have posted this 24 hours sooner, I would have been glad to take it off your hands and we would have had the opportunity to meet in person cause I live in PA as well (at the intersection of I-78 & PA-100) -- I picked one up yesterday for carry around the house / property as a secondary gun. But I see that you already have a buyer so I guess it works out.

RJ, congrats on your new purchase.

Alan - heck - how fate controls events eh!!!  I had vacillated on moving it on for some while - never really wanting to sell - I am way too good at buying tho! ::)

I have of late put several guns and items under scrutiny - being absolutely harsh with self - and so if something is to all intents surplus to requirements, then maybe time to move it on.  I really do have more guns than needed (or is that sense! LOL)

I had hoped my wife might have CCW'd with it but - she does not find semi's friendly enough - so she is revo snub.

I certainly would have relished the chance to meet but notice too just how far East you are - long haul!

Glad you have one tho - great pocket pieces.

>>When I bought my P3AT I was told the gun would need ~150 rounds put through it for break in...after which it should prove reliable.  I did just that and found just that...!

For pratice my gun eats WWB and for carry I use old style Silver Tips.  The gun is accurate and never misses a beat.

I hope you enjoy your new gun as much as I enjoy mine, RJ...!...TW<<
