Hey guys , I've been around for awhile now, but have finally got my dream gun. This Rohrbaugh Robar just arrived and was everything I hoped and more. The grips are a prototype made by Neil and Pat Hogue. They are the only one's in existence. I will gladly give Karl and Eric feedback regarding your thoughts on them. Thanks for a great forum and all your past support.

JJ62 nice rig! Love the Robar's!!! Not sure about those grips yet, I'll have to ponder awhile. I think I would like a solid color better to go with the gray but could change my mind anytime, who knows.
They look alot like the auction pup.

Jim. Congrats on the Robar. I'm a little undecided on the grips as well, however, if you like them, that's what counts. Enjoy!

Jim,
Great looking pup, neat to have one of grips, especially with the Rohrbaugh logo.

The auction pup looks alright except for the grips. As absent minded as I'm getting I'd probably be trying to wipe up spills with it. Gene

JJ, I like the grips! Do you know when or if they are going to be offered for sale? A quick change of subject. I bought a used holster that you made. Just wanted to comment on the quality of workmanship. Excellent work! Gene

Jim:
Congratulations on getting your dream gun! Believe me, I know the feeling. I've had mine (R9 No. 132) since May 2004 and it's in my pocket now. Those one-off, prototype grips from Hogue are real "eye candy," not to mention their value as collector's items. Life is good!
Now, let's see a photograph of your new masterpiece in one of your beautiful holsters. Don't hold back. What masterpiece of gun leather are you going to use to carry that masterpiece of defensive hardware?
Congratulations again. 8)

Congrats!
From a newbie...
I like the grips, I come from the 1911 world where there are many unique grips. Enjoy

Thank you for all your kind words.
Birdman I appreciate what you said regarding the holster you bought. I hope you get many years of service out of it. As far as Rohrbaugh offering them. I can not say, but I will let them know what feedback I get.
Richard I have not built a holster for mine yet, but will post a photo when I do.
Thanks and stay safe
