Title: What A Trade
Post by: jhs27275 on August 09, 2010, 07:25:23 PM
I've been looking at the little pistols for some time and never had the spare change to get one. In a recent trade I picked up a NIB R9S Stealth, two other NIB pistols, and some cash.

The Stealth is going to be my new carry gun after some range time.

Sounds like a good trade to me!  What ever you traded off must have been really nice, rare or the like to get 3 new pistols and cash!

It was a very rare and NIB pistol that the person wanted more than I did.    :)

C'mon jhs, tell us what you traded. We don't need any more cliff-hangers. Congrats on getting the stealth. They are wonderful guns. And by the way I'd like to welcome you to what I believe to be the best forum on the internet. Here you'll find the best pocket pistols made. And much more importantly, you'll find the best people anywhere. So, please be welcome. Post often, take lots of pictures, and tell us what the hell you traded.     Gene

Yes, welcome to the fire jhs.

And  I agree with Birdman, I too would like to know what you sacrificed to get such treasures.

First gen Colt SAA?
45 cal Luger?
45 cal P7?
Celebrity Gun?
out of production gun?
..........?

Maybe the gun that John Wilkes Booth used to shoot Lincoln?     Gene

It was a NIB FN Five Seven Tactical with factory night sights. A two digit serial number, and in the first shipment of the 5.7x28 pistols to arrive in the U.S. They haven't been made in several years.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

Thanks.

On a side note it looks like my Wife is going to take the PPK (one of the NIB pistols in the trade) so the R9S is safe.     :)

I know what you mean, but over the last 40 years there have been a few brief moments I may have traded mine. :o  ;D
