Well, I got around to shooting the new Robar pup today. I put 20 rounds of Silver-tips through with just the first round FT feed. I call that my error. Next 19 flawless. I tried 5 round of WW 147 subsonic JHP. Much less muzzle flash and less recoil. I am leaning to these as my carry/practice rounds.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I was told so long as there are not +P, which they are not, they are ok to shoot.
Thanks in advance for your help! To date you have all been a great resource.

Rober233.  Thanks for the update on the new Robar pup.  I've never tried the WW 147 subsonic JHP, so can't give any info there; Winchester 115 gr. Silvertips are my ammo of choice.  Great range session.

Many on this forum have used and are carrying the 147 gr. so you are good to go with that standard pressure if it works well for you.

Robar223, congrats on a good session. I can't remember if I welcomed you to the forum before. If I haven't (or even if I have) please be welcome, you sound as though you will be a great addition to our group. Enjoy your pup.    Gene

Anything that is not +P, functions reliably is accurate and your comfortable shooting is fine.
