Title: New Owner First Impression
Post by: 4PRTXN on December 27, 2010, 07:12:04 AM
Picked up my R-9s Christmas Eve and was at range for first shoot yesterday.  Kick not too bad. Trigger finger hurt after a couple magazines. No big deal.

Surprisingly accurate.  Bought it because my full size pistols are just too big to carry.

This is a defense weapon and not a target or range pistol. Perfect.

Enjoying the site. Lots of good info.  Currently use an ankle holster but will likely move to pocket.  Meco split holster looks interesting.

Be safe.

Ah Ha! Another new poster whose Christmas was good to them.

I think you captured the essense of "shoot a little and carry a lot" and agree totally. It's built for a purpose and it excels at that purpose.

Seriously looking at the Meco split holster as well...

4PRTXN.  Welcome to the Forum.  Congrats on getting the R9s.  Great choice on the Meco holster as well.  Again, welcome and post often.
