Anybody have one? I'm seriously interested in one, and wondering how much an improvemnt the Wilson re-worked trigger is. There are a few for sale, one not far away.
I'm also a fan of the Armor Tuff, as I have 2 Wilsons with them already.

Slick. Lchavezmisc, a Forum member, has one. Here's his thread.

Thanks, went through the thread. I also have to assume there aren't many out there.

I'd say you are right.

Not many available and typically overpriced, you could probably have a standard mode done yourself and spend less and even add front & rear back strap checkering or stippling. :D

I don't have a standard r9 to compare the trigger to. This is the first one I have owned or handled. I have always been happy with Wilsons quality and accuracy. Figured this was a good teaming with Rohrbaugh.
I can say that the slide and trigger are very smooth. The finish cleans up very easy. I have some wear on the barrel, but I am happy with this all blacked out version.
Compared to the mil spec, these are a barbain:).

That's "special forces" not mil spec, lol. Wouldnt want to get everyone excited about a new model;)

A little more information from Rohrbaugh on the Covert.
- Parts are hand selected and shipped to Wilson
- Wilson sand blasts parts
- Wilson tunes and polishes all internal parts
- Wilson coats all parts with Armor Tuff
- Reassembled by Wilson and sent to distributor
Essentially the same as the Special Forces except the custom work is done by Wilson instead of Rohrbaugh.
