Does anyone know how the Rohrbaugh pistol family became associated with the nick name of "PUP"
I have looked around, but cannot see a direct answer to the geneoloy of the name.
I am guessing the answer is so simple it will make me feel silly, but I would still like to know.

MOLSON. The name for the R9 was first brought about by R9SCarry, a forum member here, and has stuck ever since.

Thanks. At least it was not an obvious answer. Nice to know the history.

R9SCarry is much more than just a forum member. He is a plank owner from May 21, 2004. He has contributed much useful information in a relatively few amount of posts and he is most appreciated by all of us. Here is only one example:

I do agree, tracker; I have read all RS9Carry's posts, as well, as all others. His info is second to none. Thanks for pointing out the example.

LOL. I was about to post a thread asking the same question. ;D

It has been asked several times before and I'm sure there will be more to come.
Maybe the answer should be made a sticky.

That's a good idea! ;D

Post it in "R9SCarry FAQ" section. :D
