Title: Loctite For Grip Screws?

My grip screws keep coming loose.
What number Loctite should I used to keep em tight?

Use the blue (I think it's 242) for medium hold. They will stay pretty snug and you can remove the screws with a high quality hand tool. Don't use the red unless you want to heat the screws when you want to remove them. Loctite can be a little deceiving because the different strength threadlockers come in a red tubes. Learned that the hard way when I was working on my old Ducati...

The alternative I have selected is to use rubber mini-washers (O-rings) to keep the grips of my R9 seated during range sessions:

Rubber o-rings, humm, I never would have thought of that.
I think I would prefer Loctite though and forget it.
Over 600 rounds through my pup and it works like a champ.
Great little pocket protector.

Those I use for my R9 grip screws have the same OD as that of the screw heads, which I believe measure 0.196".
