All,
Just wanted to officially say hello. I've been contemplating a Rohrbaugh for a couple of years. Found a used R9S at a gun store in Ft. Worth a month ago and put it on layaway. I spoke to the owner and found that he had actually fired 12 rounds thru the gun since new. Next I researched this forum for 15 days and caught up on all things Rohrbaugh: bought a couple of extensions from John, a holster from Wolverine and mags, springs and screws from Maria. Even bought a precision 1/16" hex tool to remove the grips! All this before I even had the gun.
Well I picked it up, changed all the springs and took it to the range. You never know how reliable any firearm might be: I mean I can tell stories about a $3000 Wilson .45 that neither the factory nor I could ever get to shoot reliably. Regardless, on its first outing, the R9 shot 150 rounds of GD 115's into 5" at 10 yards without a glitch.
I love the gun and wish to thank the owners, mods and all who contribute to this forum for the wealth of information provided here.
Best regards,
elde
