Title: Deer Park Font Change?

Does anyone know when they changed the font for Deer Park, NY from Gothic to the more plain text and added the Made in USA?

I don't know exactly but~30 months ago I received a Deer Park slide replacement as you described for my cracked Farmingdale slide. It has performed like a champ since the change.

I also had to send my early serial # R9s (R3xx) in for replacement of a cracked slide.  It came back with a new slide which was marked in the plain font and "MADE IN USA".  That was September 2007, so it's been 4+ years.

Since I started the thread Ill add a pic of the two R9s that made me ask the question.  The gothic text R9 is soon off to its new home but its CF grips will be staying with the Elite. Hopefully ill get the the range soon and have a good reason to cut the tags off the Elite. BTW CTC that is quite the pair you have.
