Great gun......I tried hard to find something wrong with it but couldn't...............12 round mag.....ambidextrous slide stop.....ambidextrous manual safety.....reversible magazine release.....adjustable front and rear sights.....large button on the mag for easy loading.....slide lock when empty...........loaded chamber indicator...........I shot six 12 shot groups I could cover with a quarter form 10 feet using Federal value pack.....not bad for $400............ ;)

How is the take-down and reassembly process? I heard the Walther was a real pain to reassemble with an unruly recoil spring.

30 seconds............probably less if you practiced
-
That's about right; never timed it. Easy, though.

When you pull the slide off it will really remind you that Walther built it because it is like looking at a PPK.
The only thing I do not like is they all have thumb safeties and mag safeties. My other M&P's do not have these.
I have not seen a way to defeat the mag safety and I have been looking a lot. If anyone would find a way to defeat the MAG safety on an M&P22 pistol please post.

I hoping to have an M&P 22 soon, I have 8 to 10 thousand rounds of 22 ammo I need to shoot up. ;D

$359 is the cheapest I have seen.
Buy one and enjoy disposing of all that ammo.

Excellent price, for sure!

I bought one off of Gun Broker of $344 + $20 Shipping, should have it next week also found a place with mags in stock and ordered one.
I'll post a range report as soon as I put some rounds through it.

Good deal, John. :)

Eager to hear your opinion. I am going out to play tomorrow with both the M&P15-22 and the M&P22. I have a safe full of weapons in larger calibers but have the most fun with these 22"s.
Go figure.

Well the extra mag I ordered for the M&P 22 arrived today, now all I need is the gun. ;D
I found out today my FFL fax wasn't received by the seller so I had to have them resend it. :(

Bummer, John. Hopefully, you'll have it soon. :)

I meant to call a couple of days ago and make sure they received the fax but have been busy and just forgot about it until this afternoon wen the mag showed up. It hasn't been good outdoor shooting weather the last couple of days anyway. ;D

Definitely windy, here. That bad tornado just a few miles down the road.

I have the MagPul version of the M&P 15-22 . The fol down sights alone were a big savings as they can be moved to anything w/ a picatinney rail.
At 50 Yrds it will shoot a hole in the paper about the size of a quarter. Trying to decide whether to buy the 15-22 Pistol (Looks fun to shoot) or the Custom Shop 15-22 w/ the threaded barrel and two-stage trigger. I really like that many of the parts are interchangeable w/ my ar-15 type guns. Even the trigger group. Great guns.

I read a post on another forum were the owner of an M&P 22 had 5000 rounds through his gun with NO issues of any kind. ;D
