Title: First Shots R9
Post by: Robert_Henley on March 10, 2012, 10:43:43 PM
Shot my R9 for the first time yesterday, and it was smooth as silk.  Used 124 grain Speer Gold Dot JHP ammo.  Very impressive and smooth trigger. :)

RH:

Permit me to welcome you to the Forum, to congratulate you on selecting the R9, and for posting that good range report. "Smooth" is an adjective perfectly descriptive of the R9 trigger.

De Santis Nemesis pocket holster is the only holster I have at this time.  It fits in my front pants pocket or the cargo pocket of my cargo shorts pretty nicely.  Need a low profile magazine holder to carry a spare magazine if anyone has any suggestions.  Robert

Robert,

I have a double magazine pocket holder in sharkskin on order with Del Fatti. I don't think I will be seeing it anytime too soon. I would be willing to bet that Meco Holsters could make something for you. They have an excellent product and a very good turn around time.

It looks like it takes the holster makers longer to make a holster for the R9 than it takes Carl to make the actual R9 pistol.
