Title: April 19, 1775

Although we celebrate July 4, 1776, as the day our nation's founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, it was today in history, April 19, 1775, that the American Revolution could be said to have actually begun with the shot "heard round the world" on Lexington Common.
