Massad would approve and all three conditions of "stand your ground" have been met in this case. This is a Grand Jury "no bill" if there ever were one.

Or - chasing them away to stop the threat. ;)

Notice particularly the 71-year-old gentleman's technique. He is seated at the right end of a row of computers with his back to the door when the two BGs enter the room. BG#2 wearing mask and hoodie and waving his pistol about "gangsta style" as he attempts to force patrons to move into what might have been planned as a "kill zone" doesn't even seem to notice the gentleman's presence. The gentleman then swivels around, springs out of his chair with his own pistol in hand. BG#2 notices the movement and turns to confront the gentleman, whereupon the latter begins aimed fire. This takes both BGs completely off guard, wounds BG#2, and begins the process of ending the threat. Also notice in the final frames of the surveillance video that the gentleman's trigger finger appears to be out of the trigger guard and along the slide of his pistol as soon as he has ended the threat to himself and his fellow patrons in the cafe.

Somehow I feel that this wasn't the gentleman's "first time in a rodeo."

He also dropped to one knee while taking the first shot. This was not a random act, either. Does anyone know the weapon name that Mr. Williams used so deftly in repelling this act? Apparently it was a .380 according to one press release.

Fox News has picked up this video and supplied a little bit of additional information:
Authorities in central Florida say two men were trying to rob an Internet cafe when a 71-year-old patron began shooting his own gun, wounding the suspects.
Surveillance video shows two masked men entering the Palms Internet Cafe around 10 p.m. Friday. The Ocala Star-Banner reports one pointed a gun at customers while the other swung a baseball bat.
The video shows patron Samuel Williams pulling a handgun and shooting. He continues firing while the suspects fall over each other as they run out the door.
Nineteen-year-olds Duwayne Henderson and Davis Dawkins were later arrested and face attempted armed robbery with a firearm and criminal mischief charges. They were transported to Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Dawkins had a superficial wound in his left arm, but Henderson was shot in two places: his left buttock and his right hip.
Both posted bail and were released.
Williams has a concealed weapons permit. Bill Gladson of the Marion County State Attorney's Office says the shooting appears justified.
Neither of the men have a criminal record, authorities said
Both men were arrested for attempted robbery with a firearm.
