I enjoyed that story. You and that revolver were destined to meet -- it just took a while.   8)

Dude, you got such a smokin' deal!

I have the little brother, or cousin to that gun.   Its a Smith 442 Airweight that Wiegand did way back.  It was on the cover of American Handgunner and called the Streetfighter.

I sent the gun to Weigand and the work he did back then cost more than what you paid.

He did a silk smooth trigger job.

Replaced the barrel with a Hybra-ported barrell with 4 ports and Tritium front sight.

I don't remember if I added the Eagle Secret Service grips or if they did.

I had Ahrends make the pocket holster, called the natural, smooth inside, rough outside.  The small pocket which holds the speed striip breaks the outline and prevents *printing* excellantly.

Here's another story.  When I had my 60 done to match the 65 in 1994, I seriously considered buying a Centennial 940 instead of the 60 as the base gun.  Oh well, maybe the 940 will magically appear for 2014.   ;D

My first pocket rig was a Ahern Pocket Natural for my Mustang Pocketlite.  Looks just like yours and it's in just about the same condition.   I shot a picture of it a while back to show the progression of pocket 380s and holsters over the last 20 years.

That's cool! 8)

I also have an Ahern Pocket Natural for my Custom Mustang as well.

Cool, indeed. And since Custom Mustangs have been mentioned, permit me to present my SM&A Mustang with old ivory panels that "Yankee" agreed to sell to me -- a little beauty that was my EDC for a while but now enjoys retired "safe queen" status:

Hmmmm....we all started with Mustangs and ended up with Rohrbaughs.  I guess we all missed out on the Colt Pocket 9's when they were available.
