Title: Anyone into Glocks? Really BIG Glocks?
Post by: Faawrenchbndr on February 27, 2013, 04:16:59 PM
I have owned a few Guncrafter Industries 1911s, both in 45acp.
I knew Alex created a 50 GI cartridge for the a model 1.  I recently
stumbled across a listing for a GI conversion for a Glock 20/21
Seller had sent it to Robar, barrel & slide coated with NP3. Also
got a bit of ammo with it.  Alex offers loads in 185, 230, 275 & 300 grains.

Below is a comparison of a 45acp Gold Dot with a 50 GI, both 230gr

Cool gun.

Kind of makes the 45 vs 9mm argument a joke!

I had a local guy offer to sell me his 50 GI conversion for my G21.  I passed.  Cool concept and all, but not very practical for my needs.  Love to Robar finishing touches on your conversion.
