That sounds about right, I would not carry in IL.

Just stay out of Chicago.

The Cops will shoot you if you carry, and the Bad Guys will shoot you if you don't.

Can't win that one.

Cops are a major hazard if you have a gun. But, look at Dorner (Cal-nut-cop manhunt) .... there were two Mexican cleaning ladies, with brooms, that got their pickup riddled with M-16s. If you get stopped on a dark round and pick up a shiny cellphone, you will get plugged.

Logic would have it that a ghetto-banger with a 22 is the most dangerous to a Chicago cop.
