Title: Conspiracy theory on the LEO switch from 9mm to .40 S&W

This article contains a fascinating insight about the widespread switch by LE agencies from 9mm to .40 S&W being influenced by the economics of the 1994 AWB and the demand for pre-ban 9mm magazines... No doubt there were lots of valid reasons at the time, but this theory does make some sense to me.  :)

I posted this link to the forum on 9/2/13...I was surprised to learn they where reselling the high capacity mags!!

Do you know anyone who can confirm the resale of the magazines?

Sorry I missed that, Jack.  I have no doubts they resold the magazines -- those things were probably worth $100 used.
