My gunsmith has introduced me to a whole new world of custom guns. He convinced me to have him order all the custom pieces to build a Caspian 1911 Titanium Commander .45. He carries a 3.6" one. There is a long wait list before Caspian ships the 3.6" Titanium frames, so he ordered the 4.25 Titanium one which was in stock. The gun was built with the following:
It has a Caspian 4.25 Commander slide on a Caspian race ready recon Titanium frame.
Wilson Combat Bulletproof Stainless 6735 magazine release,
Caspian unique cut slide,
Greider Precision 3 hole v match trigger,
Infinity triglide sear Titanium spring,
Smith & Alexander grip safety,
STI Titanium hammer strut,
EGW Titanium mainspring housing cap,
Caspian unbreakable premium grade ejector,
Stormlake stainless steel ramped barrel, Novak Tritium night sights,
Black Palm Custom grips
Weight: 30 ozs
The 3.6 will be ready soon. Someone is going to get a great deal. My cost was $1950.00 for this beauty. It is comparable, yet better than several Wilson Combat models that cost 2K more! $1950.00 shipped.

Wow. What a beautiful 1911. I'm a bit slow as you know. Is this a 4.25? And you are soon to get a 3.6 so you are ready to move the 4.25" because you don't need 2 norm?

Yes to both.

Hi Norm, Since we are both here in South Florida and I am in the need of a good gunsmith, who do you use?

Phil: I use Ken@ S3 here in Bradenton. He is a perfectionist. Around these parts he is considered a god. I highly recommend him. He is at 941-524-0524. Tell him I gave you his number. Good luck.

I have one of the Original Nighthawk Predators (#3) and it was built on a Caspian frame. Great frames. Love the gun.
