The collection has grown. A couple extra 9mm slides and a 380 conversion.

Eric, I found a guy locally who is going to bead blast that 416 slide. Im in a small town so trying to find someone to do it was near impossible. Ill post a pic once its done

Excellent. I used 175/325 glass bead at about 80/85 psi and about 2-5" from the work. Movement was moderately paced.

Why are you selling the 380 kit?

Its more of a novelty to me. Ill keep it if it doesnt sell. Most of the fun was in the hunt for the parts lol

Eric, where did you get 175-325 from? All I can find anywhere is the 170-325. Slightly more coarse

Actually, it may have been 170/325. Last time I bead blasted anything at the shop was about two years ago and that media we purchased a year before that. My memory may not be a sharp as it once was. lol.

I think it's close enough so we will try it on some test stock and compare the finish to the finished slide before we go ahead with the rough slide

Sounds like a plan. If you don't care for the look, do what we did. . . . try a different media and see what happens!
