Hello, I just bought an R9S and can't help but think I got lucky. It was used and 2000 miles away. The seller stated it had been reliable. It was described as carried a lot, and shot little (that sounds familiar)?
I used what I had, all cheap ammo. Each mag was fully loaded with one in the pipe. 42 rounds over two sessions.
Blazer Brass 115 Ball 100%
Amer Eagle 124 Ball 100%
Win Ranger 147 JHP 100%
I don't think I'm going to have much to complain about here!...Tom

Many of these mighty midgets are ammo sensitive. It seems you have lucked into a less fastidious example. Congrats! Do remember to keep the grip screws tightened, but never too much...they can get loosened after even 20 or 30 rounds, and that will affect function badly.
