I think ccoorreeyy is attune to what may be going on.

I'd be extremely careful taking advice on a purchase from a new member who joined just to post about a hard to find item.  Scams are everywhere these days.

It may not pay to be too collegial.  I responded a few years ago on this forum to a new member wishing to buy magazines…If memory serves I sold him two at $30 each knowing that they could go for many times that, thinking I guess that I was simply helping another forum member….never heard from him again.  I suspect he sold them for much more than he paid.  If you sell and don’t really know the buyer, sell at a premium!. …“Fool me once,…..”
