The SSL certificate for our server is not up to date. We are working on that, but there is no quick fix.
I have no problem accessing the site, but some are getting an SSL certificate error. Please check in on this thread if you can access the forum and read this post!

I can see!
-
Check
-
I'm only able to log on by bypassing the SSL certificate warning.
-
No issues or worries here.
-
OK here.
-
No issues reaching the site but I do see the cert error. Not sure where you are hosting, but you may be able to use the tools from https://letsencrypt.org/ to get a new cert and I believe they have a tool that automatically renews the cert for you.

Good here
-
All good here Duane. Thank you!

No issues

Now I cannot get Rohrbaughforum.com thru my Safari. In order to get it, I have to switch over to Google Chrome...no problem there. Weird.
-
Just checking in.
-
I can get onto the site fine, but seem to be unable to post to classifieds. Do I need a special permission?
Thanks!

No problem
-
Ist gut!
-
I have been unable to login for a couple of months now and today no problem.
-
Might have been a problem. Yours was the first post in over a month.
-
Hmmm. The forum has been up because I check it most weekdays.
I was assuming lack of interest. ;)
-
Same, I check it most days. It just down briefly the other day for a little. Elsewise it has just been quiet around here.
-
I haven't noticed any issues.
Glad the resource is still available and that knowledgeable folks are checking it regularly if we have any issues arise.

I check in most days as well and just assumed lack of interest.

Considering Rohrbaugh has been out of business (sadly) now for over a decade, and Remington has been gone for 5 years--it is likely a dwindling audience.

I did notice today I'm getting a 'Not Secure' on the address bar when I check in.
.
-
I see that too. It's likely an expired security certificate. Ugh.
-
I’ve been getting a message when I google the site saying
“This Connection Is Not Private”
“ This website has an outdated security configuration, which may allow an attacker to steal personal or financial information entered…You should go back to the previous page.”
-
Nuts.
-
It's an expired security certificate. I'm working on it. In the meantime, do not post your banking information here! 8)
-
I can only enter by switching from Safari to Chrome.

It may be time to seriously consider updating this to the newer, safer systems to maintain all of the data, photographs, and history accumulated over the years for the Rohrbaugh R9 Series Pistols. After all, it was the originator of the "Micro Nine" Pocket Pistol category that followed, created by an interesting story that holds reference to The Rohrbaughs receiving their patent in the mail for their small carry pistol in .380 ACP, the very same day that Larry Seecamp's new .380 Pocket Pistol was on the front cover of The American Handgunner Magazine with his new pistol of the same caliber! THAT very incident changed small pistol history forever, and the Rohrbaugh R9 Series 9mm Pistols were developed immediately after receiving the mail that very day. It would take a financial and intelligent effort to do such a transfer to accomplish such a goal. I, unfortunately, am not capable of either. It would need to be a consolidated group effort within our community here to make this happen for the good of all. Any thoughts on the matter would be beneficial, including any of you who stop by and browse through the threads of historic stories and technical data within the forum.
We can do this.
Respectful Regards,
Eric C. Rohrbaugh
