Title: My Goodness this is great that you are still here!
Post by: chameleon on January 14, 2026, 03:45:17 PM
I can’t believe this forum  is still up and running. I’m so elated to see this. I haven’t checked here in quite a few years..
The R9 remains to be one of my favorite pistols of all times I’m looking at a lot of the old timers posts from years ago and how wonderful it is. I see Eric is still active on here! a gun company that I wish was still around.  I miss you guys..

Looking at
Irish Guard
RJ Hedley
Meco
And many more.
Great times.

Hello chameleon,

It's nice to see you check in. I check in every so often, however, most of my time now is looking after our grandchildren and enjoying some sort of retirement entertainments.

Hope all is well. Are you still on The Island?

Regards,

Eric R.

We are still here, but on "life support" as the forum software ages.  We will keep kicking as long as we can!

Hello Eric
I was never on the island.
We met in person at the SHOT show.
I gave you a ride back to our hotel.

I forgot about that chameleon.  There was a fellow back around 2007 or so whom I met at a gun store in Nassau County here on The Island. I thought that was you, however, I guess not. And I'm sorry to say, I keep forgetting about the ride back to the hotel too.

and Yes. . . . . . The Island is not what it used to be 50 years ago, that's for certain!

Karl and I are having a look around Joplin, MO. as a good friend of ours from the firearms business lives there.

That could, perhaps, spark something for our retirement.  You never know . . . . . . . .
