Nightmare Scenario and Rhetorical Question
« on: June 29, 2009, 12:02:47 PM »
Location:

The area shown on the following satellite photograph.

Scenario:

A young woman in your family is driving home alone from a shopping mall at night when her vehicle inexplicably stalls.  She rolls to a stop at the side of the road at the location marked "A" on the above photograph and prepares to use her cellular telephone to call for assistance. Her car doors are locked. A serial rapist/murderer who has been cruising the streets looking for his next victim happens to have been following her, observes her situation, and pulls his vehicle in behind hers at the location marked "B."  In her rear-view mirror, the woman sees the man get out of his vehicle wearing a ski mask and carrying a tire iron. The nearest law enforcement officer is in a police cruiser parked at the location marked "C."

Rhetorical Question:

Which of these two items will be most likely to save the woman from immediate harm?

1.

2.

(1963-1967) "GO ARMY!"

That is a good candidate for a slide view in a concealed
carry class. Those who selected #2 could continue the
course.

OK, I vote for item #2. :)

Sad thing is that so many people have been conditioned to have a "I HATE GUNS" mentality that their only hope is item #1. The anti gunners have done a great job of fraudulently demonizing the gun.  The facts are on our side. We need to do a better job of getting the facts out.
