Justice served in PA Self-Defense Shooting
« on: February 16, 2011, 09:22:59 AM »
I've been following this case for some time:

http://forum.pafoa.org/news-123/86076-old-city-shooting.html

A lengthy read but the bottom line is that Mr. Ung was acquitted on all counts yesterday in a case of pretty clear (to me anyway) use of a firearm in defending himself and his friends against an attack in Philadelphia. Mr. Ung's attacker (Edward DiDonato) is the son of a prominent Philadelphia attorney so it wasn't at all certain until the verdict came in that justice would be served in this case. That it was should be reassuring to all of us.

I read the article and watched the video. Mr. Ung was indeed fortunate to have all this recorded by building surveillance. It appears to be a clear case of self defense. I am glad that justice prevailed.
