« on: March 02, 2011, 04:04:54 PM »
Anyone out there know the Best Way to clean up some Bayonets, that are wraped in OIL WRAP, I believe Cosmalene, not sure of spelling.  They are very sticky have been this way since Korea Days.

Thanks ???

I don't know the best way but here is a product I bought at Home Depot for this general purpose that may work well.

Kerosene followed by Simple Green and hot water. Dry well and apply Eezox.

Do not over clean you would not want to lose the aged patina.
