Fired my new R9
« on: September 14, 2005, 11:40:33 PM »
I shot seventy rounds of mixed ammo through the R9. I had one hick-up, a failure to feed. That was early on, so I expected maybe more problems, but nothing.

By the way, anyone shoot at Scottsdale Gun Club?
 It is one beautiful facility.
I did let one of the Range Officers try the R9...he did great with it, and knew it was of great quality, yet never heard of them.

Remember the ammo on that FTF?.  Also - what manner of FTF was it if you can recall.

This is still 'early days'' on that gun yeah?  So breaking in a bit?

I think the failure occured with the Hydra-Shoks.
I fired most of the HS first.
The bullet head did not make it up the feed ramp.
I had to remove the magazine, then rack the slide.
