Been Away for A While

I have been away from the forum for several years and fortunately decided to come back for a visit.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of RJ Hedley.  I have one of his holsters in my pocket as I type.  A real gentleman and great craftsman.  He will be missed.

I have a R-9s that I bought new shortly after they came on the scene.  Serial # low 1100's.


This goes with me wherever it is legal to carry.  I have been pretty much taking this fine pistol for granted, but recently started looking at them again.

Went to a gun show today with a good friend who really likes my R-9.  Told him that chances of finding one there were slim and none.  Wouldn't you know it, I found a dealer with two.  One 9mm Stealth and one 380.

My friend bought the 9mm as I told him I would buy it if he didn't.  I sulked a bit, but after coming home I found a new 9mm Stealth on line and bought it.  

Anyway, I love these little jewels and hope to spend a little more time on the forum.  Great place and very civil.

Great to be back.  Yes, I do have alot of catching up to do.  Sure is interesting though.
