Memorial Day . . . . . . .
« on: May 25, 2025, 06:48:55 PM »

Memorial Day . . . . . . . a time to morn the great sacrifices of too many men and women during a horrible period of what we call "Mankind". May we remember, thank and pray for them and their souls and for the families they left behind who were devastated whenever someone in uniform approached their front door at home with some terrible news of their loved ones.

                                                                                                                                               Memorial Day . . . . . . .

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
‘Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive...those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.‘
- C. S. Lewis

Thank you both gentlemen.  Both responses brought tears to my eyes and heart, and honor to those you speak of.
