I have the privilege of residing in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee where the Second Amendment is highly revered and the scenery is easy on the eyes:

Richard, Beautiful pictures as always.  Are there any little feathered friends yet?  Dan

Dan:

There has been a lot of coming and going in "Wrenville" and I found one duck egg as of last weekend. But one has to remember that this bandit and his gang "own the night" at Critter Creek   8):

Richard,

I love the Critter Creek pictures. Keep them coming. I know you don't need any more "Floridy People" up there, but I just may have to retire up that way in the next few years. Don't think I'll be able to stop myself.

Rick:

Thank you, Sir!

And remember, Floridians are always welcome in the East Grand Division of the Volunteer State -- especially during football season.   ;)

Speaking of football and Tennessee I have heard the term
"half backs" to describe people who moved from the northeast
to Florida, had second thoughts and moved halfway back to
N.C., Tn., and such.

Richard,

Thank you for your gracious response.

Reading between the lines, I recognise and appreciate the gratitude expressed towards our local SEC football team for the instruction provided over the years to the Volunteers in the proper playing of the game of Football.  :D

Yes, and now we both have to watch out for South Carolina.  ;)

Novanglus:

Thank you, sir.  That's "Maggie," our neighbor's dog.  He's a LEO in the county.  Surprisingly, the dog never bothers the ducks.  I suppose she's just waiting for racoons, coyotes, or bears.

Joyce and I are off to Critter Creek for the next ten days. Take care of the Forum, gentlemen, and "watch six."   8)
