That photograph may have been staged, but I've seen worse in the field. Every year it seems that a few clowns show up in the woods on the opening day of deer season. Last year, one "wannabe hunter-gatherer" shot a farmer's cow on posted land in a neighboring county. ("I ain't seen no posted sign and it shor looked like a deer in all them bushes.")
The TWRA and DA had a ball with that one.
