A Call From Karl..
« on: November 02, 2005, 09:49:32 PM »
Received a call yesterday..

I was not expecting it,but got it anyways..

I had sent in my latest warranty card (another pup)with a letter asking a couple of questions..

Also extolling my enjoyment of my current pups.. ;D

I got a call on my cell with a # that I did not recognize, picked up and was very surprised..

"This is Karl Rohrbaugh,It looks like you really enjoy our product"

What could I say but-Of course!! ;D

We spoke as if we had talked every day!!

I asked him some questions,he told me some"inside info" ;) ;D 8)
Sorry-do not ask what they were.. :-X

He did tell me about my "early" R9s as far as #s and such, nothing I guess that is probably not already known..

It was still very cool that an owner of my carry gun would feel the "need" to personally call me and discuss my opinions..  8) 8)

This is why I believe that the "R" Brothers will be here in the long term..

Hi Brenden,
Karl R called me last week when he got my R-9 that I had sent him for repair. Like you, I think it is really cool that the owner of the company and the developer of this fine pistol calls and talks to us as if he knows us personally. Karl told me his name is on the gun and that he thinks of us owners as “family.” I believe him.

We are lucky to have someone like Mr. Rohrbaugh who calls the owners directly to discuss their concerns.

I appreciate him, and it looks like he is for us, too.
