Update on "Sandy" and the Rohrbaugh Team
« on: October 31, 2012, 11:06:22 AM »
I heard from Eric Rohrbaugh this morning, who just now has had his electrical power restored.

First of all, the factory fared well and has no water damage.  No serious problems on the business end of things.  The factory will be closed for the balance of the week though due to other storm-related issues.

Eric had a lot of damage to his property, but his house fared well.  Unfortunately, Karl's house on The Great South Bay suffered major damage and is not habitable.  The house was hit with several feet of water and mud.  Everyone is o.k., but they will have their hands full for a while.  Similarly, a lot of Eric and Karl's family was impacted.

Eric assures me that they will all get through it -- but it will take some time before things are back to normal at the factory.

I will stay in contact, of course, and update everyone as appropriate.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Eric, Karl, their families, and everyone impacted by Sandy.

Thank you, Duane, for that report. I have sent a message of my own to Eric.

Our thoughts and prayers are going out to all of "Team Rohrbaugh" and the countless others to suffered so much in the path of that unprecedented storm.
