Ruger announces the 10/22 Takedown rifle.  Nice.

Do any of you guys have one of these?  I had been wanting one for a while (since the summer), then of course pricing and availability went crazy here a few weeks ago, so now I probably won't be getting one for a while.  I was just curious though if anyone here had one and what they thought of it overall.  thanks!

Now if I could only find one for a reasonable price...that's what I get for procrastinating my purchase.

Wildmanwill....I've got a couple of these.  The standard one, and the fairly new stainless tactical.  I am a huge fan of the 10/22 in general, and find these to be of the same, very high quality.  Ruger is also filling orders for their 25rd mags, takes a few weeks, but they are shipping them.

Toad - good to see you again!  Thanks for the info and feedback regarding this model.  I am happy to report that I recently picked one up.  I was able to get a "deal" in my eyes, in that I didn't pay top dollar for it.  I did pay a little more than I did if I would have purchased it prior to December though.  I hope to get out with it soon.  I was impressed with what I have seen so far as I checked it all out upon receiving it.

Got another batch of Ruger BX-25 mags today.  These are the best high capacity mags on the market for the 10/22.  They can even be taken apart for cleaning.
