here's the backstory: i had a buddy check out another R9S Stealth that was posted here "for sale" last week and was available in his state FTF. he purchased it planning to transfer it to me when he came to visit in june.

after fondling it for a few days he discovered that he too had to have one. so i let him keep his and bought this one today from allan in texas for myself. win-win!!!!

my buddy called this morning telling me that in all the years he's carried legally concealed he has never felt as comfortable or as well prepared. "finest mini i've ever seen!", he just said.

news: i just got off the phone with the seller, allan yoast in dale texas.

allan is an approved rohrbaugh FFL retailer (and listed at rohrbaugh's site).

he just told me he has a new R9s Stealth coming into his shop on monday or tuesday, if anyone here is looking for one.

he's great to deal with, his prices are fair and he's quick (i paid via Visa and he's shipping it out today). i told him i wanted to post this and he said sure, so if interested in his new R9s, give him a call at 512 426-0027.

so this way his papered R9 stays his, and i'll get mine transferred via my locate dealer. simple, easy!

unfortunately these next few days will appear to pass tremendously slowly, because now i want my R9s asap.
