Here is a copy of an email from Eric Rohrbaugh replying to my lubrication questions. The info is so detailed I thought it was worthy of a new topic posting. This email is not only very informative, but shows how precise Eric is, and how important his customers are to him. All in which comes out in the work of art the R9's are.....

Thank you for inquiring about the correct lube to use on your R9. What we use
here for assembly and our own carry R9s is this: Super Lube (R)
Multi-Purpose Grease w/ Syncolon (R) PTFE. That is the "stuff". This is
a
H.D. grease which is compatible with other lubricants. The temperature range
for this product is from -45 to +450 degrees Fahrenheit. This product will
not melt, freeze or separate. It is made by Synco Chemical Corporation
located in Bohemia, L.I., New York. Phone number for them is 1-800-253-LUBE.
I'm sure that they would be able to tell you where and how to purchase it,
if it is not available in your local area.
After you make sure the weapon is free of ammunition and the chamber is
empty, disassemble the top end and clean with your usual cleaning liquids
you like to use. Dry off the parts, preferably with compressed air, and put
a dab of the Super Lube on the rails, the cone of the barrel, just a smear
around the lockup area on top of the barrel and on the inside of the barrel
pin area of the barrel. Put a few drops of your regular gun oil on the
recoil system, firing pin hole, extractor, trigger and down the magazine
release area. Carefully reassemble and check the tightness of the allen
screws which hold the carbon fiber grip panels in place, particularly on the
right hand side as this grip panel holds the trigger sear bar and spring in
place. Loosening of the allen screws will cause a malfunction of the trigger
mechanism and, consequently, the gun will not function.
I hope that I wasn't to long winded for you. Do this every 80 - 100
rounds and your R9 pistol will love you for it!.....plus, when you need it,
she'll be there for ya.
Hope all is well at your end. We are working our tails off here! Thanks
for your trust in our new firearm company.
Best Regards,
