Ok, during a lunch break at work (Daytona Race Detail) I quickly pounded down a fried grouper sandwich and I scooted over to the local range and quickly popped off 30 rds of ammo. 3 mags of 115gn Silver Tips and 2 mags of 115gn Gold Dot. It was a nice overcast day air temp around 65 deg. I checked in with the Rangemaster to let him know that I was gonna shoot some rounds off. I then quickly set myself up down range about the 7yd line without a target, just the back berm.
1st mag(SilverTips)......1st rnd popped then, JAM, round nose dived into the feed ramp. I cleared the jam and then emptied the rest of the mag with no other problems.
2nd mag(Gold Dots) from start to finish no problems and for that matter no other problems with the remaining 3 mags, ran clean.... no other incidents.
I did not worry about the gun's accuracy since I didn't have time to post a target and it doesn't have sights anyway, but I did shoot it at a small piece of trash paper laying against the berm some 35 feet away. I was very impressed with my shot placement, actually hitting the paper several times as well as making it dance just by shadow sighting from the slide's silhouette. Now after I fired all 30 rds. and my excitement over the gun subsided ..... did the web of my shooting hand start to sting! But it was a pleasant pain as I was very satisfied with my first trip out with the "pup".
