I am a new member and just wanted to post a comment so I do not get flushed as a spammer. I ordered a R9S stealth back in the first week of Feb, 2010. Maria at Rohrbaugh informed me I should have it in 3 to 4 weeks max from today 5/4. I have found this forum to be extremely informative!

J. Welcome to the Forum. Congratulations on ordering the Stealth. You'll really be proud of the little wonder when it arrives. Again, welcome!

J Jet,
Welcome to the group, I see the Airborne avatar, did you spend any time at Benning?

I went to Airborne School, Ranger School, IOBC, and TOW
at "Ft Beginning". I was an Infantry guy in the 325 at Bragg.
By the way John, your magazine extensions are absolutely
fantastic.

J Jet,
I spent two years at Benning, 2nd Battalion, 10th Field Artillery , I was the Unit Armorer and also worked in Supply ( a couple of real get over jobs
) Anyone who thinks the pup is loud should stand 10' from a 105mm Howitzer
For those not familiar with the 105mm Howitzer, the projectile is about 33lbs and a max powder charge is around 4lbs. Range is seven miles.
And the muzzle flash is something to behold at night., not bad in the daylight either.

for some reason I couldn't get the picture to load, so here's a link.

Jet:
Welcome to the Forum, and thank you for your service to our country!
John:
I know what you mean by the sound of the 105. Back in my day, we were altogether too casual about ear protection when standing near one doing its work. (Back then I couldn't even spell "tinnitis."

I always loved the sound of Divarty. Sounded like someone pulling my bacon out of the fire! We had the 105's as our
indirect fire support. Always dependable!
I always considered that 33 lb round as a can of Whoopass heading some poor souls way.
Regards,
John G
