Preamble: Since this is my first post, let me introduce myself. I am a flashlight enthusiast, and a newbie to firearms. Right now, as I live in NYC, I must remain only an interested observer in the land of firearms. Besides this, I am a representative of
http://Fenix-Store.com, which offers low prices and free shipping to anywhere in the world. For me, it's not about trying to pigeonhole a flashlight into every possible use, but about trying to match the right flashlight to the right use, whether a Fenix or a Surefire or any other light.
A user of these forums informed me that people here may be interested in a low-cost, high output flashlight for daily and personal use. Fenix lights fit this niche perfectly, as there a Fenix for nearly every kind of need one might have for a day-to-day usage light outside of security and LEO applications (though I've met a few in said careers who do use Fenix lights).

I know that some people may not be familiar with the newer technology flashlights, and let me say, new technology flashlights are stunning. A Fenix L1P flashlight running on one alkaline AA has been shown to outperform a Maglite 2D. Fenix is not your grandfather's light.
Fenix flashlights start at $30, and even the lower-end models are stunners. They are, in my opinion, incredibly high quality, on par with other manufacturers many times the price. They are well built, and my old Fenix L1P has seen a lot of abuse over the past few months (constantly dropping it) and still works perfectly. I wouldn't be recommending these lights, affiliation or not, if they weren't good quality.
If you have any questions about the Fenix line of lights, feel free to email me or ask here. I will also try to provide what useful information I can about other lights as well during my stay on these forums.
I have arranged for a coupon for users of Rohrbaugh forums -- just use the coupon code "ROHRBAUGH5" for 5% off any purchase of $20 or more, and as always, free shipping to anywhere in the world. If I am breaking any rules (I didn't see anything suggesting I might be) with this thread, please inform me and I will correct myself.
Sincerely,
Stephen
